Qualifications and Experience: FTD/ROR W/ CSCS Card

Foundation Personnel are recruiting for an Experienced Groundworks Supervisor with a strong background in Deep Drainage to oversee a busy civils project. You will be responsible for leading a groundworks gang, ensuring all drainage works are completed safely, accurately, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep drainage teams, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works.

• Planning daily activities and coordinating labour, plant and materials.

• Reading and interpreting drainage drawings, line & level, and ensuring correct installation.

• Overseeing manhole construction, pipelaying, catchpits, chambers and sewer connections.

• Completing daily paperwork, briefings, toolbox talks and risk assessments.

• Ensuring compliance with all industry and site-specific H&S requirements.

• Liaising with engineers, site management and subcontractors.

• Maintaining high levels of quality control and problem-solving on site.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising deep drainage operations.

• Strong understanding of drainage systems, levels, trench support, temporary works and confined spaces.

• CSCS card (Gold/Black Supervisor level preferred).

• SSSTS or SMSTS (essential or preferred depending on client).

• Safety Critical Medical – Advantageous

• Criminal Background Check (DBS) – must be completed or willing to undertake.

• First Aid (advantageous).

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
