Design Engineer
Foundation Personnel, a leading Geotechnical and Foundations recruitment agency, is currently seeking a qualified Design Engineers to join our clients team.
Our client a leader in the execution of complex excavation pits, ground improvement and deep foundations, utilizing the most up to date equipment and installation techniques.
Responsibilities:
Design/value engineering of foundations systems:
Deep foundations (drilled shafts, ACIP, DDP, etc.)
Design/VE of ground improvement (vibro-compaction, vibro-replacement)
Trench stability analyses
Design of shoring systems
Maintenance of geotechnical report database/repository
Work platform design and provision of guidance for implementation of best practices on site
Review of load test data and maintenance of load test database/repository
Support project teams in the preparation of pre-construction and close-out submittals
Lead preparation of shop drawings (e.g. DSM, CSM, jet grout layouts; rebar cages)
Lead preparation of as-built drawings
Requirements
Requirements of this Positions:
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, have a minimum of 2 years' experience in geotechnical or structural design and be authorized to work in the US.
