About the Role:
We are looking for a hardworking and safety-conscious Deckhand to join our team on a temporary dredging project based in Sheerness. This role involves working on a vessel supporting dredging operations, ensuring all deck duties are carried out safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:

Assist with the day-to-day operations of the dredging vessel

Handle mooring lines, rigging, and general deck maintenance

Support the setup and operation of dredging equipment

Maintain a clean and safe working environment on board

Follow instructions from the vessel master and site supervisor

Monitor safety procedures and report any issues promptly
What We’re Looking For:

Valid ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate (or equivalent)

STCW Basic Safety Training (or willing to complete prior to start)

Previous experience working as a deckhand – dredging or marine construction preferred

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable team player with a strong awareness of safety
Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with dredging operations or marine plant
-
RYA Powerboat Level 2 or MCA Boatmaster Licence
-
Additional marine safety or mechanical training is a plus
