Foundation Personnel is seeking a Crawler Crane Operator for a shaft-lifting project in Birmingham. The role involves operating a 25T Sennebogen crane for lifting operations in and out of shafts as part of a tunnelling project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in crane operation and working in a heavy construction environment, particularly with tunnelling or shaft work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 25T Sennebogen crawler crane to lift materials in and out of shafts.
- Perform precision lifting and placement of materials within a confined shaft environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Follow strict safety protocols, ensuring the safe use of machinery and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the tunnelling and lifting teams to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid CPCS Blue Card for crawler crane operation.
- EUSR SHEA Gas certification is required.
- Proven experience operating crawler cranes, ideally in shaft or tunnelling projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations for lifting operations.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with supervisors and colleagues.
