Position: Crawler Crane Operator
Location: Dawlish, Devon
Project: Tunnelling – 17.5m Diameter Shaft, 20m Deep
Scope: Operating 100T Crawler Crane
Hours: 07:30 – 18:00 – Mon/ Thurs- 07:30 – 15:00 – Fri 
Duration: Ongoing
Salary: £240 Per Shift
Start Date: 16.06.2025

  • Blue CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo (mandatory)

  • Safety Critical Medical

Foundation Personnel are looking for a  Crawler Crane Operator to support a major shaft sinking project in Dawlish, Devon. The project involves lifting and placing heavy segments and equipment for a 17.5-metre diameter, 20-metre-deep shaft using a 100-tonne crawler crane.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of a 100T crawler crane on a high-risk tunnelling site

  • Supporting shaft construction with heavy lifts and equipment handling

  • Working closely with lifting supervisors, slingers, and engineers

  • Conducting daily safety checks and maintenance on the crane

  • Adhering to lift plans and site safety protocols at all times


Requirements:

  • Blue CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo (mandatory)

  • Safety Critical Medical (SEQOHS accredited) (mandatory)

  • Demonstrable experience operating crawler cranes in heavy civil or tunnelling environments

  • Strong awareness of site safety procedures and lift coordination
