Foundation Personnel are looking for 360 Excavator Operator to join a 3-man gang on a housing development project in Shipdham, Norfolk. This is a front-end role focused on preparing the site for residential construction, including vital drainage and foundation work.
You will be responsible for digging footings, drainage runs, backfilling, and operating attachments to place concrete accurately. Footings are excavated trenches that define the building’s footprint and are reinforced with rebar and concrete, forming the foundation for future block and brickwork.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating a 360 excavator for precision digging and backfilling

Excavating footings and drainage lines

Using machine-mounted attachments to pour concrete

Collaborating closely with a small team to keep the build on schedule

Adhering to all on-site safety procedures
Requirements:

Blue CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo – Lifting Operations (mandatory)

Proven experience in residential groundworks and drainage
-
Confidence in reading plans and marking out areas for excavation

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
