360 Excavator – Above 10 Tonnes – Lifting Ops
Position: 360 Excavator with lifting ops
Location: Farringdon, Oxfordshire
Project: Utilities (Water)
Hours: 7:30 -5:00
Duration: 4 weeks, potential to move onto other projects
Salary or Pay Rate: £220 per day
Requirements: CPCS or NPORS and Thames Water Passport
Key Responsibilities:
- Operated 360 excavator (above & below 10T) for excavation, trenching, and backfilling
- Carried out lifting operations in line with lift plans, safely handling:
- 1200mm concrete pipes
- Precast manhole rings and covers
- Worked in coordination with slinger/signaller to ensure safe and controlled lifts
- Excavated trenches to required depth, line, and grade in accordance with drawings
- Assisted with pipe installation by placing and positioning pipes accurately
- Conducted daily plant checks, ensuring machinery was safe and well maintained
- Followed all **Thames Water health & safety and environmental standards
