Position: Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Project: Sizewell C
Hours: 7AM to 5PM
Duration: 4 Weeks
Salary or Pay Rate: £22 (PAYE) + T & L
Requirements: CPCS or NPORS with CSCS Logo
Foundation Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator on behalf a Tier 2 Contractor for Sizewell C with previous Batching Plant experience to join a busy site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a wheeled loading shovel, feeding materials into the batching plant and carrying out general material handling duties around site.
Duties:
- Operating a wheeled loading shovel safely and efficiently
- Feeding aggregates and materials into the batching plant
- Loading and moving materials around site
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects
- Working closely with the site and batching plant teams
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a Wheeled Loading Shovel
- Previous Batching Plant experience – essential
- CPCS Blue or NPORS with CSCS logo
- Valid Medical
- Sizewell C Induction
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Relevant experience within construction, quarrying, recycling or aggregate environments is advantageous
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
