Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Fixer to work on a major construction project in Old Oak Common, London.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK construction and engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure, transport and complex building projects across the country. You will be working as part of a large site team, carrying out steel fixing works as part of the ongoing construction programme.
Duties Will Include:
- Fixing and tying reinforcement steel to drawings and specifications
- Cutting, bending and positioning reinforcement
- Working on foundations, slabs, walls and reinforced concrete structures
- Reading and working from construction drawings
- Ensuring reinforcement is correctly positioned and secured
- Working alongside groundworkers, shuttering carpenters and other site trades
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
- Following all site health and safety procedures
