Rate: £20 per hour
Hours: 07:00 – 18:00
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Must pass a Security Check (Essential)
- Proof of 5 years' consecutive employment history OR SA302 (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Concrete Finisher to work on a major construction project at Stansted Airport, Essex.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure, aviation, and complex building projects across the UK. The business is known for its innovative construction methods, high safety standards, and experience delivering large-scale and technically challenging developments.
You will be responsible for carrying out concrete finishing works, ensuring concrete surfaces and structures are completed to the required specification and standard.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out all aspects of concrete finishing on site
- Finishing and levelling freshly poured concrete
- Using hand and power tools to achieve the required finish
- Working on slabs, floors, walls, bases, and other concrete structures
- Ensuring concrete surfaces are finished accurately to line and level
- Carrying out trowelling, smoothing, edging, and other finishing techniques
- Working closely with steel fixers, shuttering carpenters, groundworkers, and site supervisors
- Checking finished concrete works and reporting any issues
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards within an airport construction environment
