Hours: 07:00 – 18:00
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Must pass a Security Check (Essential)
- Proof of 5 years’ consecutive employment history OR SA302 (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Shuttering Carpenter to work on a major construction project at Stansted Airport, Essex.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure, aviation, and complex building projects across the UK. The business is known for its innovative construction methods, high safety standards, and experience delivering large-scale and technically challenging developments.
You will be responsible for carrying out shuttering and formwork duties, constructing temporary moulds for concrete structures and ensuring all works are completed safely and accurately in accordance with drawings and project specifications.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out all aspects of shuttering and formwork on site
- Constructing temporary moulds for concrete structures
- Building formwork for columns, walls, beams, slabs, and other concrete structures
- Working from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Using formwork systems and traditional carpentry methods where required
- Ensuring formwork is secure, level, and correctly aligned before concrete pours
- Working closely with steel fixers, groundworkers, engineers, and site supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards within an airport construction environment
