Position: Shuttering Carpenter
Location: Acton, London
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £25 per hour
Hours: 07:30 – 18:00
Overtime: Saturday/weekend work available with overtime increases. Overtime increase paid on longer shifts mid week
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- Blue CSCS Card – Formwork (Essential)
- Minimum 5 years' shuttering/formwork experience
- Experience working with GASS & PERI formwork systems
- IPAF 3A/3B (Beneficial but not essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Shuttering Carpenters for a major infrastructure project in Acton, West London.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK and globally. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced offsite manufacturing capabilities, and strong commitment to safety, quality and sustainability on large-scale developments.
You will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork using GASS & PERI systems for a range of reinforced concrete structures.
Duties Will Include:
- Building temporary moulds (shuttering) for concrete structures including columns, walls and beams
- Working with GASS & PERI formwork systems
- Assembling and dismantling formwork
- Measuring, cutting and assembling materials to required specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring accuracy, alignment and structural integrity of formwork
- Working closely with steel fixers and concrete teams
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site health & safety procedures and standards
