Hours: 07:30 – 17:30

- Previous Groundworks experience
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Groundworker to work on a regional civils project in Glasgow, Lanarkshire.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major highways, transportation, public realm, and civil engineering projects throughout Scotland. The company is recognised for delivering complex infrastructure schemes, maintaining exceptional safety standards, and investing in long-term sustainable construction solutions.
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of groundworks activities as part of a civils team, supporting the delivery of infrastructure works to programme and specification.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out site preparation and groundwork activities
- Installing drainage systems and associated pipework
- Concreting, kerbing, and paving works
- Working on foundations, trenches, and underground services
- Ensuring correct levelling and compaction of materials
- Supporting excavation and reinstatement works
- Working alongside plant operators and site supervisors
- Maintaining a safe and productive working environment
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
