Foundation Personnel are currently looking on behalf of a Tier 2 Contractor for Setting Out Engineers to join the Sizewell C project – Accommodation provided 

Position: Setting Out Engineer
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Project: Sizewell
Hours: 0730-1700
Duration: on going
Salary or Pay Rate: £39.60ph

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for deep drainage, utilities, and heavy civils works.

• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with design drawings and specifications.

• Managing site control points, levels, and as-built records.

• Working closely with site management, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain smooth delivery.

• Preparing and checking QA documentation, ITPs, and daily site records.

• Providing technical support to the site team and assisting with problem-solving on site.

• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• Proven experience working on deep drainage and heavy civils projects.

• Strong understanding of temporary works, reinforced concrete structures, and utility installations.

• Competent with GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.
