Hours: 39 hours per week (Weekend work may be required)

- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Previous UKAS Laboratory Experience (Essential)
- Experience Testing Construction Materials (Soils & Concrete) (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Materials Laboratory Technician to work on a major infrastructure project.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor operating UKAS accredited laboratories, delivering high-quality materials engineering services across major civil engineering projects. The company is recognised for its commitment to quality, safety and technical excellence.
You will be responsible for carrying out site and laboratory testing of construction materials while ensuring compliance with UKAS standards.
Duties Will Include:
- Sampling materials for compliance testing
- Carrying out laboratory testing on soils and concrete
- Undertaking in-situ testing on construction sites
- Concrete slump testing and cube making/testing
- Equipment calibration and laboratory checks
- Preparing samples for testing
- Recording and reporting test results
- Maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards
- Supporting trainee technicians where required
- Following all site Health & Safety procedures
