Electrician
Position: Electrician's Mate
Location: Redcar, North Yorkshire
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Duration: Ongoing
Salary or Pay Rate: £15.41 per hour PAYEÂ
Requirements:
- ECS or JIB-ECS Card
- Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate
- Experience assisting electricians with installation and maintenance works
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and site practices
- Ability to work safely and effectively within a construction environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with electrical installations and maintenance works
- Support with cable pulling, containment, wiring and general electrical duties
- Prepare materials, tools and equipment required for daily tasks
- Follow instructions from qualified electricians and site supervisors
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- Adhere to all site health, safety and environmental procedures
- Assist in ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- ECS or JIB-ECS Card
- Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on construction, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Understanding of basic electrical installation methods and site practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good awareness of health and safety requirements

Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an Electrician's Mate on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor for a project based in Redcar, North Yorkshire.
