Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
- Gold Formwork Card (Essential)
- Previous Experience Supervising Shuttering Carpenters (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Shuttering Carpenter Supervisor to work on a National Highways project in Thickthorn, Norwich.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on large-scale developments.
You will be responsible for supervising shuttering carpenters and coordinating formwork activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Duties Will Include:
- Supervising shuttering carpenters and formwork teams on site
- Coordinating daily activities and allocating work tasks
- Ensuring formwork is constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Monitoring progress and maintaining programme requirements
- Liaising with site management, engineers, and subcontractors
- Carrying out quality inspections and resolving site issues
- Conducting briefings and toolbox talks
- Ensuring safe systems of work are implemented and maintained
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
