Rate: £22 per hour
Hours: 07:30 – 18:00

- EKFB Induction (Essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
- Slinger / Signaller Ticket (Essential)
- Previous Groundworks Experience (Essential)
- Dumper / Roller Tickets (Highly Desirable)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Slinger / Signaller to work on a major infrastructure project in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire.
This role is on behalf of a specialist civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering drainage, utilities, and infrastructure packages on large-scale projects across the UK. The company is recognised for its expertise in complex drainage installations, high safety standards, and ability to deliver challenging civils works within demanding project environments.
You will be responsible for working as part of a drainage gang, carrying out slinging and signalling duties for pipe installations while also supporting hands-on groundworks activities.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out Slinger / Signaller duties for drainage operations
- Slinging and directing lifts for drainage pipe installations
- Working with drainage systems up to 2.5m deep
- Supporting the installation of 300mm – 900mm PVC and concrete pipework
- Working as a hands-on member of a groundworks gang
- Assisting with excavation, bedding, and backfilling operations
- Communicating effectively with plant operators and site teams
- Maintaining safe lifting zones and work areas
- Following lift plans and site procedures at all times
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
