Hours: 07:00 – 19:00 Mon – Thurs and Friday 07:00 – 16:30
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
- CSCS Card – Gold or Black (Essential)
- First Aid (Essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Site Supervisor to work on an earthworks project in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
This role is on behalf of a well-established UK construction and earthworks contractor delivering bulk excavation, aggregates, and infrastructure support services across the country. The company is known for its extensive plant fleet, integrated approach to earthworks and materials supply, and strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency on major projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing a team carrying out earthworks operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Duties Will Include:
- Supervising a team carrying out earthworks activities
- Overseeing daily site operations and productivity
- Ensuring works are completed to programme and specification
- Managing plant, operatives, and subcontractors on site
- Maintaining site safety and enforcing health & safety procedures
- Completing site paperwork, reports, and daily records
- Liaising with site management and project teams
- Conducting briefings and toolbox talks
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
