Rate: £22 per hour
Hours: 07:30 – 18:00
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
- Plant Ticket – e.g. Forward Tipping Dumper or Ride on Roller (Bonus)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Groundworkers to work on a project in Brighton, East Sussex.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on large-scale developments.
You will be responsible for supporting plant operators and carrying out a range of groundwork duties related to foundations, formations, and service installations.
Duties Will Include:
- Working alongside plant operators excavating for foundations and formations
- Excavation for pipe ducts and service routes
- Grading to line and level
- Backfilling and compacting excavations
- Supporting general groundwork and site preparation duties
- Assisting with material movement and site logistics
- Ensuring all works are carried out to specification
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
