- Fully Asbestos Trained- Cat A and Cat B Asbestos Awareness and Non-Licensable Works (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a General Labourer to work on a specialist project in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
This role is on behalf of a specialist environmental and remediation contractor delivering asbestos removal, decontamination, and site clearance services across the UK. The company is known for its expertise in hazardous material handling, strict compliance with regulations, and commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on all projects.
You will be responsible for assisting with the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials, specifically hand picking asbestos from cement, while ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety guidelines.
Duties Will Include:
- Hand picking asbestos from cement in a controlled environment
- Following all asbestos safety procedures and regulations
- Wearing and maintaining appropriate PPE and RPE at all times
- Assisting with site setup, containment, and decontamination processes
- Working closely with supervisors and specialist teams
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Supporting general site duties as required
- Adhering to all health & safety and environmental guidelines
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
