Position: Site Engineer

Location: Leiston, Suffolk 

Duties: Set out and survey works in accordance with the project drawings and specifications for tunnelling works 

Hours: Could be 07:00 AM – 15:00 PM or 15:00 PM – 23:00 PM 

Duration: 9 Months 

Salary or Pay Rate: £350 A Shift Plus Travel and Lodge allowance 

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience in a site engineering role within tunnelling or heavy civil engineering (e.g., shafts, TBM, SCL/NATM).

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and relevant industry standards.

• Competent in using surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS) and CAD software.

• Understanding of temporary works procedures and construction safety regulations.

• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• CSCS Card and relevant safety qualifications (e.g., SSSTS, First Aid).
