Foundation Personnel is seeking a Site Supervisor / Ganger to lead and support a team on a public realm project in Bridgwater, Somerset. This role involves supervising groundworks for civils projects, including kerbing, edging, and preparing areas for block paving, along with shallow drainage. Our client is a respected civil engineering company known for handling high-profile projects with precision, particularly in public infrastructure and urban development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide groundworkers and civils gangs on site.
- Coordinate and participate in tasks such as kerbing, edging, block paving preparation, and shallow drainage installation.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all groundworks activities.
- Ensure project specifications and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, reporting to the site manager as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A valid Blue CPCS or NPORS/CSCS card and SSSTS certification are essential.
- Experience in a supervisory role within groundworks and civils is required.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and independently when needed.
