Estimator
Position: Construction Estimator
Location: Sidcup, London
Project: Demolition, asbestos removal, and civil engineering works across London and the South East
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Duration: Permanent
Salary or Pay Rate: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum + Company Car
Requirements:

Proven estimating experience within demolition, asbestos, and/or civils
-
Strong understanding of enabling works, remediation, and civil engineering packages
-
Ability to analyse drawings, surveys, and technical documentation

Experience sourcing and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
-
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
-
Proficient in Excel (AutoCAD experience advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities

Analyse project documentation and specifications

Obtain, review, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations

Support tender submissions and procurement activities

Monitor costs, variations, and project spend

Produce regular cost reports and commercial updates

Assist with resolving cost and contract-related issues
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Demonstrable experience as a Construction Estimator within demolition, asbestos, or civils

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and labour costs
-
Experience working on UK-based projects
-
Excellent organisational and communication skills
