- Approved (Cat B) Non-Licensable Works with ACMs certification
Foundation Personnel is seeking for three CCDO Labourers for a demolition project in Yeovil starting end of October. The role involves soft strip demolition work, ensuring safe and efficient removal of materials in line with site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soft strip demolition tasks, carefully removing fixtures and fittings
- Assist the demolition team in the safe removal and disposal of non-structural materials
- Adhere to all site safety procedures, particularly regarding asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and follow project instructions
- Conduct tasks in compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- A valid CCDO Demolition and Refurbishment Operative card is essential
- Approved (Cat B) Non-Licensable Works with ACMs certification required
- Previous experience in demolition, particularly soft strip work
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in demolition and handling ACMs
- Ability to work efficiently and safely as part of a demolition team
